Every artist gets their start somewhere...
I'm a professional musician now, but like anyone else, I didn't start out that way. Just like with anything in life, there was that learning curve that took quite a few years to perfect. Writing songs didn't always come so naturally, and recording was much more difficult in the early 2000's before everyone started using Hi-Tech recording software on their laptops. I can't speak for anyone else, but back then, I recorded on an 8 track Alesis Adat that recorded on SVHS tapes. You could only record 8 instruments on your song. And you better get it right the first time, because there was no stopping in the middle of the song, backing it up a little bit and continuing. If you messed up, you had to start over. There was no saving takes. So sometimes you just took what you could get.
"Was it really THAT noticeable?"
"Can we live with it?"
"It could be worse..."
Ah, the good old days.
Still, give me our current tech any day.
With all that said, notice I only have more recent albums up for sale online, and available for download or for listen on Spotify. Not all of my albums are available, because the first seven I recorded were subpar. Mostly thanks to the lack of Hi-Tech recording software, and more importantly, my learning curve when it came to, well, EVERYTHING. My singing voice has matured A LOT since my first album, and so have my playing skills, and songwriting prowess. But it has recently been brought to my attention that there are people out there who like hearing how artists got their start. So without further ado, I present to you, my first seven albums for your listening pleasure(?). For free. No gimmicks. No tricks. Just click on the album you'd like to listen to, and there you go. You'll more than likely laugh, and I am COMPLETELY fine with that! If I can make someone smile, then I am all for it! So, enjoy, and if you'd like, let me know what you think! [And please take note, these are not my recent albums (those are still available for sale online, through iTunes, etc, and for streaming on Spotify), and I most certainly DO NOT sound like this anymore!!!] So with that said...Here is the blackmail before it gets used as blackmail!
